About the Role:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you'll play a critical role on our team, managing client financials, leading monthly closes, mentoring junior staff, and building strong client relationships. This is a fully remote position with lots of autonomy — and plenty of support when you need it.

In this role, you will:

• Lead full-cycle accounting closes for a diverse portfolio of clients

• Handle monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll, etc.)

• Manage AP and AR workflows, including invoice creation and review in systems like QBO and BILL

• Review and mentor staff on reconciliations, month- and quarter-end closes, financial statements, and reports

• Build specialty reports and dashboards tailored to client needs

• Troubleshoot tech and app issues, recommending new tools and improvements

• Own client budgets and timelines to ensure work is done accurately and efficiently

• Communicate with clients and team members via Zoom, phone, and email

• Support onboarding and catch-up work for new clients

• Prioritize recurring and project-based work to meet deadlines across the team

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in a multi-client environment (required)

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero (required)

• Familiarity with tools like BILL, Reach, Ramp, Dext, Expensify, Slack, and Google Suite

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field

• A knack for solving problems and a love for helping clients

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• A tech-savvy, adaptable approach to work and leadership

• Experience managing and developing others in a supportive, feedback-driven way

• Base salary of $75,000–$85,000 (based on experience)
